The 6 passengers La Vancelle was converted in 1991 from the traditional Dutch working barge by Berend Gozens. She has a split level dining/salon area with a piano, a master suite , and 2 cabins, 1 twin and 1 double.Fully equipped galley with washing machine and dishwasher .
After years of navigating in the Alsace,and the north of Europe Bernard the owner decided that it was a good opportunity to change her homeport to the Canal du Midi and propose the La Vancelle now as a Bed and Breakfast barge with skipper and hostess only.
The ideal situation for a family of 6 or a group of friends .They can use the whole barge as their home, make their own lunches or diners or if they prefer going out for diners to the local restaurants where they can moor the barge almost in front of the restaurant.
Direction of the cruise can be decided upon reservation either direction Canal du Midi with as highlight of course included the Cité of Carcassonne or the other direction towards the Camargue/Provence ,with nice towns like Sète, Aigues Mortes and Beacucaire and Arles.
