Burgundy famous for its wines also offers beautiful chateaus and abbeys, bustling market town and classic canal cruising with meandering canals and hand operated locks with walks and cycling along side the barge as it floats almost silently thought the countryside. Captain Kevin, having lived in both areas gives a unique insight into the people and customs of both regions. Owner/captain Kevin Tickell has a long experience of luxury motor yacht cruising, and the design of Saroche reflects the high standard of both the interior space and exterior appearance of the barge. Saroche, being one the largest 6 passenger barges in France, offers a spacious and airy split level lounge and dining room, a library and quiet writing area with fish pond and wine safe holding, up to 200 bottles of selected French wines.
